The launching of Mine Action Project:

 

  On November 9th, 2006, an agreement was signed by Madam Fayza Aboulnaga, Minister of Inernational Cooperation and the UNDP resident representative to launch in the NWC of Egypt, an " Egypt / UNDP Mine Action Project" to last 18 months, as a first pilot phase to be followed by a second phase that may last for 5-6 years.
