The Executive Secretariat for the demining and development of the North West Coast at the Ministry of International Cooperation in collaboration with the Geneva International Centre for the Humanitarian Demining, GICHD, has organized a high level workshop on mine action on 27 and 28 February 2008.
The workshop that took place at the JW Marriott Ballroom, was attended by a large number of participants including representatives from various ministries and other state institutions concerned with technical, scientific, social and economic affairs, and civil society organizations, demining experts and the media.
